Terms of Service

By browsing the website, opening an account, submitting an inquiry or custom request, choosing financing, or placing an order, you agree to these terms and the linked Privacy, Shipping & Warranty, and Refund & Return Policies. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must provide accurate information and use the website lawfully. You may not bypass access controls, misuse another account, interfere with security or operation, introduce malicious code, scrape protected areas, impersonate someone else, or infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights.

A cart, submitted order, inquiry number, financing application, automated email, or payment-pending status confirms receipt of a request but does not by itself mean that Mike Da Jeweler has accepted or can fulfill it. We may verify inventory, price, shipping eligibility, identity, address, payment, and fraud risk before acceptance.

An order is accepted when we confirm it and begin fulfillment or custom production. We may decline, limit, or cancel an order for an unavailable item, listing or pricing error, failed verification, suspected fraud, payment failure, legal restriction, or inability to deliver. If we cancel after collecting funds, the applicable amount is returned through the original payment process.

We try to keep photographs, descriptions, dimensions, purity, stone details, weight, price, and availability accurate. Handcrafting, screens, measurements, live metal rates, stone characteristics, sizing, and custom specifications can create reasonable variation.

Final jewelry pricing may include metal value, finished weight, purity, labor, design complexity, stones, settings, services, tax, and shipping. Reference gold rates are not the final price of finished jewelry. Applicable sales tax is calculated using the delivery and transaction details.

Available methods depend on current site settings and order eligibility. They may include card or digital-wallet payment through Stripe, a Clover-hosted payment link, Snap Finance, Acima, layaway, or a payment-pending inquiry followed up by the store.

A bank or payment provider may place an authorization or pending charge under its own rules. Mike Da Jeweler does not control how quickly a bank releases a failed, voided, canceled, or refunded authorization.

Orders are screened for fraud and payment risk. We may ask the purchaser to confirm identity, billing or delivery address, order purpose, or limited payment details before fulfillment. High-risk or unverified orders may be delayed or canceled.

Only submit verification through the method we identify. Never send a complete card number, CVV, online-banking password, or Social Security number through ordinary email, chat, or social media.

A custom project may require reference material, dimensions, sizing, spelling, metal and stone selections, a quote, deposit, and written approval. The customer is responsible for checking all approved specifications before production begins.

Changes after approval can change the price and completion estimate. Once sourcing, alteration, or production has begun, payments toward custom, personalized, engraved, resized, plated, or specially finished items are non-refundable except where law requires otherwise or we confirm a qualifying defect or order error.

When enabled, layaway requires a 20% deposit at checkout, with the remaining balance due before delivery or release. A layaway order does not ship until the required balance and verification are complete.

Layaway payments are not eligible for cash refunds. If Mike Da Jeweler approves a cancellation, eligible amounts are converted to non-cash store credit after subtracting permitted non-refundable custom work, sourcing, shipping, provider, or service charges. Store credit has no cash value and is subject to the terms provided when issued.

Snap Finance and Acima are separate lease-to-own providers. Each provider determines application requirements, approval, agreement terms, payment schedule, disclosures, and account servicing. Applying does not guarantee approval, reserve inventory indefinitely, or require Mike Da Jeweler to begin fulfillment. An order may remain marked as waiting for provider approval until status is received.

Ask to cancel immediately by emailing mike@mikedajeweler.com with the order number. We may approve a full cancellation if fulfillment, sourcing, resizing, engraving, customization, or shipment has not begun.

After work or fulfillment begins, cancellation may be unavailable or subject to the return policy, restocking, shipping, custom-work, and provider charges. Custom projects and layaway follow their specific rules above.

Mike Da Jeweler stands behind the precious metals, diamonds, gemstones, and other materials as described in the confirmed sale. Product-specific certifications, hallmarks, laboratory reports, or appraisals apply only when stated with that item.

Report a suspected manufacturing defect promptly with the order number and clear photographs. Where the 30-day workmanship warranty applies and the issue is confirmed, we may repair, remake, replace, or otherwise resolve it. Normal wear, accident, misuse, loss, and third-party alterations are excluded.

A qualifying purchase of $500 or more may include a complimentary Mike Da Jeweler appraisal when shown on the product or checkout page. The document may state available item details and an estimated retail or replacement value as of its preparation date.

Not every item qualifies. An appraisal is not an independent laboratory report, guaranteed resale value, investment promise, or guarantee that value will increase. Post-sale revisions or replacement copies are not promised unless separately confirmed.

Our Shipping & Warranty Policy and Refund & Return Policy are incorporated into these terms. International customers are responsible for applicable duties, brokerage, taxes, customs requirements, and local charges unless the order confirmation expressly states otherwise.

You retain ownership of material you submit, while granting Mike Da Jeweler permission to use it as reasonably needed to quote, design, produce, document, support, display with permission, and fulfill your request. Do not submit a design, image, trademark, or other material you are not authorized to use.

Our business name, site design, original writing, photography, graphics, videos, logos, and other materials are protected. Personal browsing and shopping are permitted; commercial copying, republication, resale, or exploitation requires written permission.

The website and third-party integrations are offered on an as-available basis. We do not promise uninterrupted access, that every third-party service will remain available, or that every estimate or external link will always be current.

Nothing in these terms removes a right or responsibility that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Mike Da Jeweler is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from website use, customer-supplied errors, carrier or provider acts, or unauthorized third-party alterations.

These terms are governed by applicable United States and New York law, without removing mandatory consumer protections. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply.

We may revise these terms for operational, payment, service, or legal changes. The updated version applies prospectively from the effective date shown unless law requires another approach.
