Order processing and production
In-stock merchandise normally leaves our facility within 2–5 business days after payment and order verification. A custom, resized, engraved, made-to-order, or special-order piece requires additional production time. Many custom orders are estimated at 7–14 business days, while complex work may take longer.
All timeframes are estimates unless Mike Da Jeweler gives a written delivery guarantee. Verification, material availability, customer approval, holidays, weather, customs, and carrier conditions can change the schedule.
Domestic and international delivery
We ship within the United States and to selected international destinations that our carriers and compliance requirements support. The available service, price, and delivery estimate are shown at checkout or confirmed in the order quote.
The recipient is responsible for international import duties, brokerage, customs charges, taxes, identification requirements, and local fees unless the written order confirmation says otherwise. Customs decisions and delays are outside our control.
Shipping charges and sales tax
Eligible orders of $500 or more receive free standard insured shipping when that benefit is displayed or confirmed. Orders below the threshold use the shipping charge shown at checkout. Expedited, remote-area, oversized, special-handling, return, and international charges may apply. Sales tax is calculated according to the delivery address and applicable law.
Tracking, insurance, and signature
- Mike Da Jeweler arranges carrier-level insurance for eligible outbound packages while they are in transit.
- Tracking is sent after the carrier accepts the shipment.
- High-value packages may require an adult signature, identity check, or collection from an approved carrier location.
- Insurance does not replace the recipient's duty to provide a secure address, monitor tracking, and report a problem promptly.
Delivery problems and claims
If a package appears damaged, incomplete, lost, stolen, or incorrectly delivered, contact mike@mikedajeweler.com promptly. Preserve the packaging, shipping label, photographs, tracking records, and any delivery video or building records.
We may require a signed statement, identity verification, police report, carrier cooperation, or other reasonable claim documentation. Once a carrier marks a package delivered, the facts and available coverage must be reviewed before a replacement or refund decision is made.
Address changes and failed delivery
Check the shipping address before payment. A post-order address change may require fresh fraud verification and cannot always be completed after processing begins. Extra charges may apply when a shipment is refused, unclaimed, returned after failed attempts, or addressed incorrectly using information supplied by the customer.
Workmanship warranty
Unless the order documentation provides different coverage, Mike Da Jeweler offers a 30-day workmanship warranty beginning on the delivery date. It applies only to a confirmed manufacturing defect in the item as originally delivered.
The warranty does not cover normal wear, scratches, accidental impact, misuse, improper storage or cleaning, loss, theft, stretched or broken chains, missing stones caused by impact, sizing changes, plating wear, or repair or alteration by another jeweler. Contact us with the order number and clear photographs before sending anything in.
Repairs after warranty
We may be able to inspect and quote a repair after the warranty ends or for damage outside warranty coverage. Repair availability and price depend on the item, material, parts, condition, and work required; it is not a promise of free or lifetime repair.
Complimentary appraisal
Qualifying purchases at or above the appraisal threshold shown on the product or checkout page currently include a complimentary Mike Da Jeweler appraisal certificate. It may record available details such as metal purity, weight, stones, identifying characteristics, and an estimated retail or replacement value.
Not every product qualifies, and an appraisal is not an investment guarantee, resale promise, or independent laboratory grading report. Confirm eligibility before purchase if an appraisal is important to your order.
